NEAR FROZEN SEA TURTLE SAVED

Loggerhead Sea Turtle who's had trouble coming out of his shell

Herb the loggerhead sea turtle
(you have a problem with that?) was found freezing on a Cape Cod beach. Herb was rescued by Audubon Sanctuary volunteers and brought to the New England Aquarium for a slow warmup.

Vets and rescue biologists slowly warmed Herb about 5 degrees each day and he'll soon move on to the Riverhead Foundation on New York's Long Island, where he'll be released, tricked out with longjohns and a sporty hat.

Now that Herb the loggerhead sea turtle is fine, researchers will continue their search for Cecil the Seasick Sea Serpent.
