This Rocky Mountain Horse wants socks

Raymond Petterson of Tallahassee, Florida has come up with an idea that has already made hundreds of horses happy. He came up with the idea after adopting an arthritic horse named Eve. "It was a rescue, and we got her and she was bad over the knees, she was arthritic, she could hardly move," explained Petterson.

The idea? Whinny Warmers: Leg warmers designed expressly for horses. The socks slip easily over the horse's shoes and keep the legs warm in winter, cool in summer, and keep bugs from biting their legs. The fashion statement is catching on and Petterson donates a portion of each sale to animal rescue.
