GOOD IDEA: DISCOUNT SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM

French Bulldog who grudgingly admits this is a good idea

Here's a good idea from the Delaware Department of Agriculture: a low-cost spay/neuter program geared for low-income owners of pets. Sterilization would save thousands of animals from homelessness, illness and euthanasia. Look at these stats: Spaying one female dog can prevent 67,000 dogs from being born in six years, and spaying just one female cat can prevent 420,000 cats from being born in seven years, according to the Department.

The Department of Agriculture's program will charge only $20 at participating vets and includes a rabies vaccination. Are you still sitting around reading this? Grab your buddy and go!
